Truffle ceremony Amsterdam
At this moment, my client is engaged in introspection during his individual truffle ceremony. During the introspection, I briefly let go of the person undergoing the trip so that they can enter their own world and experience. It gives me time to think about advice and to write this.
On location in Amsterdam
The individual ceremonies take place on location. This can be anywhere in the Netherlands, but most take place in Amsterdam. As is the case right now, I am in Amsterdam as well. I have brought all my supplies to the hotel of this client living in the US. Amsterdam is often chosen because it is the best known. Generally, the truffle ceremonies also take place at clients' homes or in AirBNB properties. Anything is possible.
Goal of the truffle ceremony
The goal of this truffle ceremony is not therapeutic. In this case, it is intended to connect with spirituality, something that goes beyond mere meditation. Although it is not intended to be therapeutic, spirituality can still have a therapeutic effect because it can also provide peace.
Wishing you lots of luck with the trip
The intensity of the trip is very strong. In consultation, we decided to build up the dosage in steps. It is a trip level 5 trip with a heroic dose. This means 1 mg of psilocybin per kg of body weight (do not attempt this without experience and supervision). Triple level 5 is maintained for an extended period before the landing is initiated via the lower trip levels.

Heroic dose
The high, heroic dose of psilocybin I did with this client in Amsterdam yesterday was extreme. A normal high dose of psilocybin is 25mg, and this time we did 70mg.
Insights during the hero dosage
During the coming-up, all concepts became meaningless, and for the person undergoing the trip, it seemed as if he was losing everything he knew. Then the ego death occurred, and that lasted about 3 hours. That is quite long for an ego death. During the coming-down, it felt as if he was being reborn and as if all the things he knew and possessed were being given and granted to him. It was precisely the losing and the getting back that led to gratitude and appreciation. Another insight was that he himself was sabotaging his own romantic relationship and that he DOES want to marry his girlfriend.

I've been very confused on grams vs milligrams does levels.
Here in the USA they state that 5 grams of mushrooms is a very high does and yet you explained that 70 milligrams is a very high does. For a long time I was very confused about this but I think I've figured it out but wanted to hear your thoughts.
I found a website that states: ""for one gram of mushrooms, there will be anywhere from 5-20 milligrams of psilocybin""
If this is the case then 5 grams of mushrooms = 25-100 milligrams of psilocybin. Which means a heroic does of 70 mg = 5-6 grams of mushrooms.
I'm assuming that the type of mushroom is also going to have it's own effect as well.
Is this correct? Any further light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Allan,
When they talk about magic mushrooms in the USA they mean the dried shrooms and that's a big difference in comparison with the "wet" shrooms and truffles. Here in the Netherlands we use the "wet" magic truffles (scelerotia) because of the law. The amount of psilocybin and psilocin are different in each and in each species.

Interesting.
So when you mix your tea... you're using pure psilocybin extracted from the truffle correctly? Which is certainly more reliable than just guessing how much psilocybin a particular truffle may or may not contain. Correct?

No, we're not allowed to extract psilocybin right now. The only legal way is to use psilocybin truffles and calculate how much psilocybin is present. It's always a bit of a gamble but we can adjust the dose within the first hour by giving some more.

The most important thing for a smooth coming down is magnesium and enough water with a pinch of ORS salts for hydration.
