Can I take Chocobliss in combination with Lisinopril?
Chocobliss is a product containing truffles, cocoa, and Banisteriopsis caapi. However, because Chocobliss contains processed truffles, it is an illegal product in the Netherlands. Although it contains some other ingredients, the three ingredients mentioned earlier are particularly important to check for their safety when combined with medication.
Can lisinopril (Zestril) be taken together with Banisteriopsis caapi?
It is advised against combining lisinopril, an ACE inhibitor (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor), with Banisteriopsis caapi, ayahuasca, psilohuasca, chocobliss, or other products containing MAO inhibitors. Lisinopril is a medication used to treat high blood pressure and heart problems. MAO inhibitors can enhance the effect of lisinopril, which can lead to dangerously low blood pressure. This can be dangerous and lead to dizziness, fainting, and other complications. The same applies to lisinopril with brand names such as Prinivil, Acerbon, Carace, Diroton, Lisihexal, and Tensopril.
