Can I also take the DMT as a capsule?
Aside from the fact that DMT is illegal in the Netherlands, DMT cannot be effectively taken in capsule form. When DMT is taken orally, it is broken down by an enzyme called monoamine oxidase (MAO) before it reaches the brain. To prevent this, one must DMT are taken in combination with an MAO inhibitor, such as with ayahuasca. If a strong MAOI is added to the capsule, DMT can become orally active.
