Review of truffle ceremony with Marcel as guide

What a trip I’ve been on!!

Words cannot explain what that was like for me or how it happened, but what I can put into words is how I managed to get through it.

My interest in a truffle ceremony arose after I saw on a programme that the active compounds in certain truffles create connections in the brain that do not normally exist.

This was something I wanted to experience. Whilst looking for someone who could do this, I came across triptherapie.nl and got in touch with Marcel.

Marcel replied quickly, and I arranged to meet him for a walk and a chat.

Marcel was straightforward and asked me direct questions about why I wanted to do this, what I hoped to get out of it, and so on. This gave me cause to think more deeply about this ceremony.

He spoke about the possibilities and how a ceremony is a good opportunity to reflect on the things you want to change in your life.

During the conversation, it became clear that Marcel is knowledgeable and also has a great deal of experience. All the qualities you’d want if you were planning to undertake this venture.

In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, Marcel helped me stay focused with tips on nutrition and mindset. The way you view yourself and your preparation are important so that you can get the most out of your ceremony.

On the day of the ceremony, I was a bit nervous; you don’t know how it’s going to go, how it will make you feel, and so on.

Marcel explained what I could expect, and we talked about how it feels and what his role is. His calm manner put me at ease.

I felt at ease, safe and comfortable throughout the entire process.

This is down to the nature of Marcel and what it does.

Eventually, once you’ve drunk the truffle tea, you’ll feel wonderfully relaxed and retreat into your own world, and your trip will have begun.

Throughout the trip, Marcel was my point of contact for gauging my experiences, but also my guide in helping me focus on what I wanted to ‘see’.

I can’t help but say and write that this has been an amazing experience, one that I wholeheartedly wish everyone could have.
