Guys! This works! Turn on the reset button and go πŸ™‚

Wow, a truffle session with a professional tripsitter like Marcel is an experience of a lifetime.
At first, it was scary and strange because I hadn't done walk and talk beforehand; I only wanted to have a beautiful experience under guidance.
But after seeing and speaking with Marcel on the way to the location, I immediately saw that it would be fine; he was a good conversationalist with a lot of knowledge, and it was immediately enjoyable.
The trip was the most euphoric and visual trip I have ever experienced; I really needed that, what a relief.
The conversation with Marcel after the trip had a very positive influence on me in the days that followed.
I drank alcohol every day after work and have been depositing pretty much all my money into online casinos for the past 4 years.
I don't feel the need to drink and gamble anymore now, and I also kind of feel like I'm letting the universe down if I start againπŸ˜‚.
A reset button was immediately flipped and I woke up again; I increasingly want to eliminate all bad habits from my life and have regained the motivation to get healthy, gain knowledge, and meet people.
Marcel has given me a number of important keywords and sayings that keep recurring and have a very positive effect on me.
I started exercising and living healthier again after 5 years, and I feel so much better and more insightful. I am very curious to see where this will take me; I already notice so much more positivity.Β

Β

I went there without the intention of working on anything, but Marcel quickly realized that I could change a few things, such as my alcohol use and gambling. He still texts me to see how everything is going; this is very much appreciated and not something to be taken for granted. He does this because he wants to help people. So, thanks and see you soon!

It was wonderful to see that you initially indicated you wanted to do a truffle ceremony to 'give it a try'. The insights you needed came quite quickly. Acknowledging problems is the first step towards solutions. This is the beginning of taking control again. We will stay in touch, and please let me know how you are doing from time to time.

P.S. Those shoes are a really beautiful blue!

Thank you for wanting to share your story here πŸ™‚

The trifecta πŸ™‚

Now a week after the first trip and meeting Marcel;

It all started on Monday, 4 days before I took my first trip on Friday. I knew I had a challenge planned, namely 75 mg of psilocybin. Out of respect and a healthy fear of the unknown, I started eating healthily and immediately stopped drinking beer; the effect was trifecta :).

I went to the gym singing today, something I would never have thought of doing at times, and I am happy. And you radiate that to others, and then your path heads in the right direction; every effect has an effect, and you hold the effect in your hands :) I have become more aware of my thoughts and actions.

Thanks to Marcel, who remembered that I could purchase a subscription on Wednesday and reminded me of this; it serves as a safeguard, and the supervision of a third party certainly helps.

Motivation has increased because I continue to eat healthily and started exercising, as I have gained more respect for both body and mind. I am also sleeping through the night for the first time in 2 years (before this, I woke up 4 times a night). It doesn't stop there, and I will keep going.

I want to quit smoking and drinking, and that's why I find this story really interesting.

What I am very curious about is what exactly the turning point was for you that made you stop your addictions. What idea or thought was that exactly? Was it a process, or was it truly a moment of inspiration?.

I hope you can say something useful about it.

Hey Wim,

I started quitting 4 days before I was going on that trip. I had taken magic mushrooms and truffles before and experienced nausea and feeling unwell due to alcohol use and poor eating habits. (I still smoke, by the way; I’ve been off alcohol for 2 weeks now.) I wanted to see what a Level 5 experience would be like under supervision. Looking forward to that experience, I turned things around and started eating healthily to prepare myself for an intense experience. After that week, I immediately started feeling better again. I have a sports backgroundβ€”I hadn't exercised for 6 years, but I did workβ€”and after that week, I noticed that the healthy lifestyle was making me feel good.

Then there is the effect of the trip; the days afterward are the strongest and last up to at least a week. In the days that follow, you will notice your brain making different connections and showing you the positive aspects.

Hope that was somewhat clear, you can always ask more.,

Regards.

Hey Mathijs,

The reason the trip works so well is partly because you really want it yourself. You have taken the first steps yourself to become healthier. You can certainly be proud of that. After all, the first step and acknowledging the addiction are the hardest parts.

You will also succeed in quitting smoking if you want to. In any case, I am here for you if you need my help with that.

@wim

So it is a process that people are going through. The psychedelic trip can be seen as an extra push in the right direction. After all, it opens our eyes to what we otherwise do to ourselves. How can you poison the only thing you truly possess, your body, in such a way? You know you have acquired knowledge, but you can truly feel it during such a trip.

Exactly this, this is exactly how it feels; it is a perfect kickstarter for your beginning to change.

I am mainly interested because it makes quitting easier. Is that perhaps an excuse we need? Furthermore, I am also very curious whether it works in the long term. What is the risk of relapse? Do you notice any relapses yourself? What do you do to prevent yourself from drinking again?

Sorry for all the questions, but I would like to know if this is worth the money and what the best way to proceed is.

Hey Wim,

First of all, I want to say that you are welcome to ask anything you like. I am happy to explain my findings, but I am not authorized to tell you the likelihood of a relapse, as I am a klan myself.

As for myself, however, I haven't touched a drop for 3 weeks now and have absolutely no need for it anymore; this is simply because I just don't want to anymore. I have gained new insights in the past few weeks because I am delving deeper into my consciousness, my mind, and my body.

I go to the gym every day and focus on health, and I want to build from here. Drinking alcohol prevents me from building further and puts me back at square one, and I realize that I absolutely do not want this anymore.

And I do find it an easy way to quit, yes, because you ensure you get a different focus (the mushrooms) instead of alcohol. And I would like to work on my health between trips so that you experience the trips better too; that is my goal now.

I would say just give it a try; the change lies with yourself. The mushrooms will help you, but you have to take the steps yourself. All the best.

Meanwhile, we have a second one truffle ceremony done to quit smoking as well. @mathijs has written another review about this.
