Last Saturday, November 15th, was a magical day for me. I had been told about an integration day where insights from previous sessions could be further integrated through Psychodrama and the use of a very low dose of psilocybin. This seemed very valuable to me, so I decided to sign up.
The day itself personally gave me more than just integrating previous insights. I experienced the safety created by facilitators Ina and Ronald as an opportunity to open up completely without feeling ashamed.
The energy palpable in the group, where everyone opened up, gave me a sense of complete safety to be present with the most uncomfortable emotions and to fully accept them. Being able to observe these without fighting them seems to have set a beautiful transformation in motion. But above all, the insight that I can be with these feelings and do not have to run away from them feels very valuable to me.
Because the group dynamics were so open and supportive, the psychodrama seemed to magically unfold before our eyes, with everyone playing a beautiful role in connecting with the different parts at play within us. It gave me a blueprint for how I can be more present for these parts in "real life" without wanting to resolve or push them away.
What I also found very pleasant is that the facilitators did not place themselves above the group but actually became absorbed into the emerging group dynamics.
I experienced the day as a very pleasant and healing day.
