Last Wednesday, I did a private Psilocibin trip therapy session at Sascha. It was an amazing experience! I went very deep and discovered/rediscovered a lot of things that apparently needed to come to the surface but that I somehow couldn't access. It gave me a lot of insights, and it was a very beautiful, exciting, and emotional experience.
But one I absolutely would NOT have wanted to miss!!!
I was quite apprehensive about it (afraid of a bad trip, difficulty with losing control), and I expressed this to her. She guided me very well in this regard. In the beginning, we talked a bit about the fact that this is nerve-wracking, that it is okay to feel this way, and that we are going to take things slowly. We tackled it in three phases so that I could get used to the feeling a little. When I noticed that it felt good and I wanted to go deeper, the dose was increased. During the session, she was also there for me several times when I needed her. The follow-up conversation was also very nice and helped me take next steps, focus on what to watch out for, and start learning new patterns and unlearning old ones.
I had read the reviews here and was a bit skeptical myself (there were so many overwhelmingly positive experiences) about what it would do to me. Also out of a kind of self-protection (what if it doesn't have the amazing effects on me?). After this experience, I can only say: I should have done this sooner! Why? Because it helped me see issues and pain that I would never have been able to reach in a regular therapy session. You go so much deeper, also in terms of feelings, which cannot be achieved with regular sessions. Trip therapy therefore forms (in my opinion) a very good starting point for bringing things to the surface that you can then work with further in conventional ways. I wish everyone this experience that I had. And I hope—partly due to more scientific research in this area—that this can one day be part of the range of therapy options available.
Thanks Sascha for this amazing experience and your support on this beautiful trip!
The most important thing is good preparation, guidance, and the integration of the insights gained.
