During episode 6405 of Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden, Ludo Sanders' therapist gives advice. magic truffle therapy on. This is also sometimes guided tripping referred to as trip therapy. In our opinion, this is done in a way that is too coercive. Here at Trip Therapy, we advise doing it only out of complete personal choice. The knowledge that someone is doing it of their own free will helps in allowing the effect of the psilocybin/psilocin from the truffles to sink in.

about truffles and therapy

At the end of the episode, you see Ludo Sanders tripping while walking during his psychedelic session. In almost all truffle sessions used as therapy, it is actually not intended for people to walk around under the influence, as this directs attention too much outwards. During the peak of such a session, the intention is precisely to lie down with your eyes closed, letting yourself be guided by the music and scents, with a question thrown in every now and then.

Perhaps we are commenting too early, and in the following episodes we will see more of how we believe such a session should proceed. Furthermore, we haven't seen anything regarding the dosage used or what extra preparations have been made. Clients who sign up with us for a guided truffle ceremony receive advice based on the intake. We also provide advice regarding the dosage, as there is a significant difference between the dosages.

It is better not to use psychedelics in the presence of certain (mental) conditions. For example, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and severe blood and/or heart problems are contraindications. After completing the intake form, we can assess whether you can participate in a magic truffle session.
