Truffle ceremony and burnout

A truffle ceremony or truffle session is increasingly being used as an aid to resolve complaints such as depression and anxiety-related issues. Burnout in brief

Prolonged stress/anxiety activates the adrenal glands for too long. Adrenal exhaustion occurs because too much cortisol must be released for a long time as a result of: stress, anger, fear, etc. Adrenal exhaustion arises because stress is continuously present. Stress is intended to allow for a quick reaction in intense situations. The demand is greater than the adrenal glands can produce. Some people experience so much tension in their lives for a long time that they develop health problems. Tensions can be caused by many different factors. A characteristic may be facing an impossible task for which you see no solution, or that an anxiety is hidden in the subconscious. This creates tension, and if it lasts too long, your body reacts to it. Prolonged tension, and consequently the production of cortisol, is the culprit when it comes to adrenal exhaustion.

Preventing or resolving burnout

The key to the solution is to work on a solution on four points. First, we need to spare the adrenal glands by reducing stress. Second, we need to replenish the stores of depleted building blocks. Replenishing these substances can be done through diet and supplementation. Furthermore, other neurotransmitters may also be out of balance, causing anxiety to play a greater role sooner. Therefore, we also check whether dopamine, serotonin, GABA, and acetylcholine are out of balance. Finally, sex hormones can play a role in a higher susceptibility to burnout.

The fears in the subconscious brain

The fears and negative patterns in the subconscious that cause you to burn out more easily can be made visible with psychedelics, allowing us to do something about them. Overview of the trip therapy procedure

Generally, with most clients, we use a schedule that looks as follows:

  1. Registration including intake and neurotransmitter test (questionnaire)
  2. Advice on nutrition exercise and supplements based on point 1
  3. Review progress on point 2 for a period of 1-2 weeks
  4. An individual psychedelic session* (Unless a group offers extra benefit or preference)
  5. Follow-up discussion of the psychedelic therapy on the same day
  6. After about 1-2 weeks, another follow-up discussion

Optional with burnout treatments: Relaxing forest walk with tips and tricks to avoid stress through movement and posture.

During the psychedelic session, in addition to the use of psilocybin, we also utilize aromatherapy, color therapy, carefully selected music, herbs, and stimulating supplements. All of this is tailored to the client and the goal.
