Mint tea and mint chewing gum lower testosterone levels (male hormone) and increase estrogen levels (female). In low doses, this is harmless. However, with prolonged use and relatively high doses, it can cause impotence or other conditions related to low testosterone or high estrogen.
Mint can compensate for slightly more of other types of tea that increase testosterone. Think of ginseng, ginger, and ashwagandha. A food I recommend for men to improve testosterone levels is pomegranate.
