Second psilocybin session 3 years later
Today I have a second psilocybin session with a client who had her first session with us 3 years ago. It is quite nice to see how things are going after all those years. In this specific case, she was able to tell me that she is still smoke-free, although the first two weeks were quite difficult for her.
Why then a second psilocybin session?
In the meantime, she has discovered that her thyroid is not functioning properly due to the autoimmune disorder Hashimoto's. The thyroid and adrenal glands regulate the body's energy metabolism. This dysregulation has led to increased stress and burnout symptoms. Through this session, the hope is that more calm will be achieved and that the body will have more rest to recover. Now, Hashimoto's is not something that can be easily resolved, but who knows, the trip might help with acceptance.
