The unknown

The unknown. You don't want to be afraid of it, but secretly, we all are a little bit. The evolutionary reason behind this is that everything that lives is afraid of new things that could potentially mean death. That is why we often cling to old patterns that have already proven not to be fatal. These cautious living individuals can reproduce more often than daredevils who sometimes die from a lack of fear. As a result, the fearful and cautious DNA will become increasingly present over time. Unfortunately, we humans are also a product of this evolution. Fear is built into us as well for survival.

Fear in the present

The ancient mechanism of fear as a means of survival in the present is perhaps a bit too intense. What can we really die from in this day and age? If you prevent yourself from becoming a victim in traffic, the remaining fear is often unnecessary. Being afraid of the future and the past is useless for surviving today. Yet these are the greatest fears of a lot of people.

How do you get rid of useless fear?
