My psychiatrist told me that I don't need to taper off Seroquel before the MDMA session. What do you think about the combination of quetiapine and MDMA?

What do you think about the combination of quetiapine and MDMA?
Quetiapine (Seroquel) is an antipsychotic and, just like MDMA, affects dopamine levels and activity on dopamine receptors. Quetiapine also affects serotonergic receptors. This can lead to unwanted interactions; therefore, it is generally advised against combining MDMA with antipsychotics such as Chlorpromazine (Thorazine), Haloperidol (Haldol), Flupentixol (Fluanxol), Thioridazine (Mellaril), Perphenazine (Trilafon), Olanzapine (Zyprexa), Risperidone (Risperdal), Quetiapine (Seroquel), Aripiprazole (Abilify), Clozapine (Clozaril), Ziprasidone (Geodon), Paliperidone (Invega), Lurasidone (Latuda), and Asenapine (Saphris).
To prevent adverse interactions, one can choose to taper off Quetiapine and take the MDMA session 2 days after the last dose. If Quetiapine is combined with MDMA, the MDMA will have less effect. This is because Quetiapine is an antagonist to various serotonin and dopamine receptors, which means that the serotonin and dopamine released by MDMA are less able to bind to these receptors.
In short, to enhance the effects of MDMA and to prevent unwanted interactions, it would be better not to combine quetiapine and MDMA. A period of 48 hours without quetiapine (Seroquel) is usually sufficient to prevent interaction.
