Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone has experience with trip therapy for personal development and specific anxieties. I am considering it myself, but would like to hear some experiences or insights from others.

My main goals are letting go of emotions that I feel I have been holding onto for a long time. Additionally, I would like to better understand why I made certain decisions in the past and why it is sometimes difficult for me to implement changes and truly sustain them.

I also occasionally struggle with periods of compulsive eating, and I would like to learn how to manage it better and reduce it.

I have developed a fear of flying since I was 20, whereas I used to never be afraid to fly. I would like to get rid of that fear.

Do you think trip therapy can help me with this? And are there people who had similar goals and had good experiences with it?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Yes, I think Triptherapie could potentially be very helpful here. What you describe doesn't sound like a few isolated problems, but more like underlying patterns manifesting in different ways. That is precisely where a guided private Triptherapie valuable in its innocence, because such a session can help to better feel and understand deeper-seated emotions, beliefs, and automatic reactions.

With emotional blockages and fears, it is increasingly observed that psychedelics bring a person closer to the core of what is going on inside. This can help to let go of old emotions, gain more insight into past choices, and better understand why change is sometimes so difficult to sustain. Behaviors such as compulsive eating are also frequently linked to tension, unprocessed feelings, or an inner pattern of avoidance or numbing. By looking at these with more gentleness and awareness, space can be created for change.

Incidentally, the biological effects can also provide more relief in that regard, alongside the insights and emotional processing.

Regarding fear of flying, it can also be helpful to look not only at the fear itself, but also at what transpired around your 20th birthday. Sometimes such a fear symbolizes a loss of control, a sense of insecurity, or a stress reaction that has become fixated on one specific subject. Consider, for example, tense situations immediately after flying or significant uncertainty following certain flights.

Also consider what good your fears want to do for you or what they are trying to protect. This way, we can approach a session better and make more progress.
