Do you notice a difference in the effect of psychedelics during ceremonies or therapy with psilocybin, etc.? Does it work more strongly on Asians, for example, than on white or Black people? Any difference in therapeutic effect?
During my sessions with people of different races, I have not observed many differences in the effects of psychedelics or the therapeutic effect of a psychedelic session. What strikes me somewhat is that the largest group of people who have booked psychedelic sessions with me (2,200+ in total) consists mostly of white people. This is not surprising given that we work in the Netherlands, but it is not representative of the Dutch population.
However, there have been a number of Asians for sessions, and they require relatively fewer psychedelics to experience a certain strength. This is largely because they are smaller.
What is very striking is that almost no Black people participate in truffle ceremonies or psychedelic sessions. This group is truly underrepresented. My assessment is that this group uses weed/cannabis rather than psychedelics. In cases where Black people did participate in a session, they used more psychedelics to achieve the desired effect. This could be due to the use of other substances and cross-tolerance, or for other reasons such as body weight.
