Do you do kambo sessions or ceremonies?

Kambo is a traditional medicine derived from the secretion of the giant tree frog in the Amazon region. According to various providers, it is used for cleansing and healing on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. During a Kambo session, the Kambo secretion is applied to the skin, usually on minor burns. This can cause intense physical reactions, such as vomiting and sweating. Because the immune system reacts massively and tries to eliminate the frog venom by any means necessary, the idea is that the body thereby also resolves other problems within the body (which would otherwise remain under the immune system's radar).

However, we do not offer kambo sessions or ceremonies because, according to scientific studies, kambo does not work better than a placebo. Although some firmly believe that kambo has meant something to these individuals, we do not consider it worth offering the risks of this frog venom. At Triptherapie, we only use psychedelics for which scientific research shows that they have therapeutic potential.
