Is a psychedelic therapist considered a healer?
At Triptherapie, we consider our psychedelic therapists not as healers, but as guides who support clients in their self-healing process. Our therapists combine various therapeutic methods with the use of psychedelics to create a safe and effective environment for personal growth and healing.
For example, Reineke is trained as a (trauma-sensitive) yoga teacher, meditation and mindfulness teacher, breath coach, and facilitator of Kundalini NRGY sessions. Additionally, she is skilled in EMDR, Brainspotting, Trauma-Sensitive Heart Coherence Training, aromatherapy, and ear reflexology. This combination of conventional and alternative care methods enables her to guide clients in their self-healing process.
Ronald, one of our therapists, has conducted over 100 guided psychedelic sessions. He works with MDMA and psilocybin in the Eindhoven region and combines his extensive experience with a deep-seated passion to help people with trauma-related issues.
Gijs, an experienced Social Psychiatric Nurse, offers psychedelic therapy combined with trip therapy in and around Den Bosch. With his background in mindfulness, talk therapy, and neurofeedback, he guides clients in a professional and empathetic manner during their therapeutic journey.
Although our therapists are not traditional 'healers,' they facilitate the body's self-healing capacity by reducing stress and anxiety. Psychedelics can be a powerful tool in this process, as they can activate the body's self-healing ability when stress and anxiety are reduced.
In short, at Triptherapie we view our therapists as expert guides who support clients in their own healing process through a holistic approach and the integration of psychedelic therapy.
