I’ve got a truffle session coming up soon at Triptherapie in the psychedelic loft in Schiedam. It’s been really hot this week, and I’m wondering whether the temperature can be kept under control in the loft. Is there air conditioning, or is the heat not too bad there?

On the Triptherapie venue: Psychedelic Loft, Schiedam We don’t currently have air conditioning. The historic building is a deep and spacious property with relatively little glazing. It’s also on the ground floor, with another high storey above it. As a result, it doesn’t get particularly hot very quickly, especially when we use the sun blinds and keep the doors closed.
Yesterday it was 38 degrees Celsius outside and 26 degrees Celsius inside, with a peak of 28 degrees Celsius. We used extra fans in addition to the standard ones. That makes it bearable. For those who need extra cooling, we can use cooling pads, ice, ice lollies and frozen towels.
So even in temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius, we can still hold the sessions and ceremonies there.
