What is the benefit of a kambo ceremony?
Kambo is a traditional medicine derived from the secretions of the giant tree frog in the Amazon region. According to ancient customs, it is used for cleansing and healing on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. During a Kambo ceremony, the frog venom is applied to the skin, usually on minor burns. This can cause intense physical reactions, such as vomiting and sweating. The idea behind the use of Kambo is that the immune system reacts so strongly to the venom that it does everything in its power to detoxify. In theory, this overreaction of the body could help to inadvertently resolve problems that would otherwise remain under the immune system's radar.
Scientific studies have not yet demonstrated that Kambo works, and for some people, it can actually be dangerous. For these reasons, we do not offer Kambo at Triptherapie. However, you can come to Triptherapie for other psychedelic sessions.
