Can a truffle ceremony also be done with magic mushrooms?

A truffle ceremony cannot be performed with magic mushrooms, because mushrooms are illegal in the Netherlands. Instead, at Triptherapie, we use magic truffles, which contain psilocybin and are legal. The magic truffle is the underground form of the magic mushroom and has the same psychoactive effects, but is permitted under Dutch law.

The term "truffle ceremony" specifically refers to the use of these legal truffles in a controlled and safe environment, where professional guidance is present to support participants during their psychedelic experience. This offers the opportunity to gain deeper insights and experience therapeutic effects, similar to what one would expect from a magic mushroom experience, but without the legal complications.

Can I bring my own magic mushrooms to such a ceremony?

In general, if you only carry drugs for personal use, it won't be much of a problem in the Netherlands.
