I will soon have psychedelic therapy with MDMA at home. Is it handy to have a reclining spot e.g. in the middle of the living room instead of using the couch for that?

At almost all psychedelic sessions, as with MDMA, LSD or truffles, there is a period of introspection. During this introspection, we encourage you to lie down with an eye mask on and music on and then take a journey inward. This journey into the unconscious works better if you are disturbed by as few things as possible. A comfortable reclining position helps and if that can be done on a sofa, the sofa is fine. If you prefer to lie on a bed, then choose a bed. When making the choice to lie on the couch or on a bed, you may want to ask yourself where you can best take an afternoon nap.

In short, choose the spot that suits you best. You can always choose to change position during the psychedelic session. But it is nice to have a good pillow and blankets ready in advance. And as a final tip; wear comfortable clothes!
