Do you play the music through speakers or noise-cancelling headphones? Could you answer this for private psychedelic sessions and for group truffle ceremonies?
Private psychedelic sessions
At private sessions By default, the music is played via speakers. The idea behind this is that the music becomes part of the whole space and the setting, so that you don’t feel cut off from your surroundings and the guidance. You are welcome to bring your own headphones or headset if you prefer, or if you’d rather shut yourself off a bit more.
Group truffle ceremonies
Also at the group ceremonies By default, the music is played via speakers. The music forms part of the shared ceremonial space and supports the participants’ inner journey. Here, too, you are welcome to use your own headphones or headset if you wish.
As mentioned earlier: “At Triptherapie, we normally use speakers for both private and group ceremonies. If anyone wishes to use headphones, they are, of course, welcome to do so.”
The reason speakers are often preferred is that the music serves not merely as background, but as a central part of the ceremony. The role of music during a truffle trip is therefore to help you go with the flow of the experience and turn your attention inwards.
At Triptherapie, we normally use speakers for both private and group ceremonies. If anyone wishes to use headphones, that is of course permitted. And if you’d like, you can even use your own playlist. This means that during group sessions or private sessions where there is noise nearby, you can still completely shut yourself off from the surroundings with a headset.
