Mushroom ceremony or truffle ceremony?

During a mushroom ceremony, we use psilocybin-containing truffles instead of magic mushrooms. Truffles are essentially the underground parts of magic mushrooms and contain exactly the same psychedelic substances, albeit in slightly different proportions. Consequently, the effects of magic truffles and magic mushrooms are almost entirely identical. The choice of truffles is due to Dutch legislation, which classifies psilocybin mushrooms as an illegal List 1 hard drug and truffles as a legal recreational drug.

Many customers from Belgium

Recently, there has been a relatively large amount of media attention in Belgium regarding the healing effects of psilocybin. Consequently, many people from Belgium come to the Netherlands for psychedelic ceremonies, as it is illegal in Belgium. Another factor is, of course, that we in the Netherlands have had much longer experience with the use of these psychedelic substances. We regularly hear from our clients that doctors in Belgium suggest our services 'off the record' as an alternative to conventional care that is often inadequate.

Most Belgian clients come to the Netherlands in small groups of 2-4 people and use our Psychedelic Loft space in Schiedam. They stay overnight in Schiedam after the session before returning home.

Those coming to the Netherlands from the United Kingdom often search for the term "Mushroom ceremony" or "psilocybin session." In my opinion, the search for a psilocybin session stems from the increasing number of studies being conducted in Great Britain regarding psilocybin for depression, addictions, and anxiety disorders. Although these studies are conducted there with approval, psychedelic therapy is not permitted outside of the research. For these reasons, more and more Britons are finding their way to the Netherlands to benefit from the therapeutic effects of psilocybin.

Most Britons choose to fly to Schiphol and then book an AirBNB or hotel themselves near Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Zandvoort. The psychedelic session then takes place at the location of the self-booked venue.

No matter where you come from, you are of course welcome. The spoken languages are Dutch and English. If you do not speak these languages, you may bring your own interpreter. We also recommend reserving the day after the session as a recovery day, and if this is the day of your return flight, please ensure that the flight is not too early or postpone the return flight by a day.
