What is the biggest benefit of psilocybin if you could only name one thing?
The greatest benefit of psilocybin is the induction of a state of contentment. This contentment may stem from the increased stimulation of serotonin receptors in the brain, particularly the 5-HT2A receptors. When psilocybin is converted into psilocin, a substance similar to serotonin, this can lead to an improved neurotransmitter balance. The altered neurochemistry can induce contentment.
