I still need to book my flight, but I can fly to Rotterdam or Amsterdam (Schiphol). I also know I want a private guided psychedelic session at the Airbnb where I’ll be staying for a couple of days. Where should I book my Airbnb?
The best strategy would be to choose a therapist or trip sitter based on your preferences and their service area. So first check with the person you’d like to have the session with and check their availability for private sessions. Then book the therapist for a specific day, book your flight and accommodation afterwards, and pay a deposit to confirm the booking.
This is important because each therapist has a different catchment area, timetable and travel fee. Some guides work mainly in and around Amsterdam or Rotterdam, whilst others are based near Eindhoven or ’s-Hertogenbosch. Booking your Airbnb first could mean you end up with fewer suitable therapists or unexpectedly high travel costs.
If you prefer the field of Rotterdam, start by looking at Reineke or Marcel. Reineke operates in and around Maassluis, Rotterdam, Schiedam, Vlaardingen and the surrounding areas. Marcel operates nationwide
If you prefer Amsterdam, check Marcel or Sascha first. They can work in Amsterdam and nearby towns.
If you prefer Eindhoven or ’s-Hertogenbosch, check Ronald or Gijs. Gijs also offers sessions at his practice near ’s-Hertogenbosch, subject to availability.
Complete the online intake procedure.
Choose the therapist or trip sitter whose expertise, language and approach suit you.
Book a specific date with that person.
Please pay the required deposit so that the booking is confirmed.
Book your flight to Amsterdam Schiphol or Rotterdam.
Book accommodation within the therapist’s agreed service area.
Send the exact Airbnb address to the therapist and check that the location is suitable.
For an Airbnb session, make sure the accommodation offers privacy, a quiet room and enough space to lie down. Also, plan to stay overnight after the session rather than arranging to travel straight away, as you may need time to rest and recover.
