Yes, Marcel van der Putten, founder of Triptherapie, was seen in Injecting and Swallowing — specifically in episode 2 of the BNNVARA series Diva's Drug Therapy.

In this episode, the presenter investigates Diva Bronze the possible role of psychedelics in treating depression. Marcel was invited as an expert in the field of guided psychedelic sessions, due to his extensive practical experience with over 2,200 guided sessions. In the episode, he explains how Triptherapie works, including the intake process, safety measures, and the philosophy behind their guidance. In doing so, he emphasizes that what they do no medical treatment is, but a serious alternative for people who consciously choose personal growth outside the regular mental healthcare circuit.

It is also explained why he, and not someone else from the team, ultimately came into the picture: the editors deliberately chose his expertise based on experience and his holistic approach.

His contribution has contributed to a broader societal conversation about the role of psychedelics in mental health, and aligns with Triptherapie's mission to integrate psychedelics into personal development trajectories in a responsible, safe, and accessible manner.

Yes, I (Marcel) participated in the Spuiten en Slikken episode about psychedelics in therapy with Diva. I answered an incredible number of questions there about psychedelic sessions, but unfortunately, they mainly focus on questions regarding the limitations imposed by legislation rather than the possibilities that psychedelic substances have to offer. It's a shame, but over time, I see this shift happening in the media. In the beginning, productions were more about: "Oh, how cool that this is possible and that it works so well!" And now the media is more about: "Is it actually allowed, and how do you protect vulnerable people?"

However, it is good to continue highlighting both sides, both the challenges and the opportunities.

I had seen it. And it's a shame that with Marcel they only wanted to talk about safety and didn't ask anything about the fantastic results I read in the reviews.

It is indeed interesting how media coverage of psychedelics is evolving. That shift from 'this is fantastic!' to 'but is it really safe?' is actually a natural process of normalization – especially now that psychedelics are being researched more seriously and are reaching the mainstream public.

Regarding the episode with Marcel: the focus on legislation and safety is actually not strange. After all, public broadcasters like BNNVARA must be extremely cautious—they cannot simply enthusiastically promote something that still lies in a legal grey area. That does not mean they ignore the beneficial aspects; rather, it means they must balance them with a responsible journalistic approach.

The real value of such a broadcast actually lies in the fact that psychedelics are discussed on a serious platform. If you look at what was impossible five years ago—now female presenters can talk about it openly, and precisely someone with 2,200 sessions of experience like Marcel is being heard. That is quite revolutionary.

For those genuinely interested in the results: they can indeed be found in customer reviews. That is actually a much more authentic source of information than TV broadcasts. What the media can do is create awareness; the real stories are in the testimonials of people who have actually experienced it.

Media coverage also helps on another level – it normalizes the conversation and takes psychedelic therapy out of the fringes. That may not be immediately spectacular, but it does work.
