Do you mean why I’m often called Marcel Trip? The nickname Marcel Trip dates back about 16 years. Back then, I was known as the lad you could go on a magic mushroom trip with in my hometown and at the gym. I was therefore listed as Marcel Trip in a few people’s phones, so it was quite a recognisable name. I’ve also had several other psychedelic nicknames, such as MarceLSD, tripgozer and truffelman. Incidentally, my surname isn’t Trip, but Van der Putten.
