What is the take-off time for truffles?
The onset time of truffles is usually about 15 to 45 minutes after consumption. If truffles are eaten on an empty stomach and with the addition of something acidic, the first effects usually appear after 15 minutes. In other cases, it will take closer to half an hour or forty-five minutes to take effect.
After this period, the first effects begin to become noticeable, with the senses functioning better and the perception of reality changing. The intensity and duration of the effects can vary depending on the dosage, the individual, and the environment.

The incubation time of truffles varies on average between the 15 and 45 minutes, depending on factors such as an empty stomach, dosage, body weight, and how they are ingested. When truffles are consumed on an empty stomach — possibly with the addition of something acidic like lemon juice (also known as “lemon tek”) — the first effects can be felt after just 15 minutes. In other cases, the experience usually starts after half an hour to forty-five minutes.
During this settling-in phase, the first subtle changes in sensory perception and mood begin to emerge. Think of more intense colors, a greater connection with the environment, and an increasing introspective focus. The actual peak of the experience often follows after 60 to 90 minutes.
At psychedelic therapy or a guided truffle session as offered by us, this is taken into account in the preparation and structure of the ceremony. A safe, calm setting and a well-prepared mental state are essential for a positive experience.
If you want to schedule a session yourself, you can use the agenda of the truffle ceremonies or book an individual session via the reservation system per supervisor.
It takes me about half an hour before I'm in my own world.
