Every crisis presents an opportunity – My experience with TripTherapie

My experience with TripTherapie was profound and life-changing. As is so often the case in life, I turned to TripTherapie whilst going through a crisis, searching for answers and a way to improve my mental health. But what I found was so much more – an opportunity to understand myself better and to heal old wounds.

Before the TripTherapy session, I had already gained some experience with MDMA through a self-experiment. These earlier experiences had brought me positive insights and helped me to release some emotional blockages. It is possible to work well with MDMA on your own. However, thanks to my trip sitter Ronald, I received some crucial and valuable insights that profoundly influenced my journey. These led to a turning point in my experience, which took me deeper towards self-awareness, self-love and a sense of self-sufficiency.

One particularly interesting aspect of the session was that I was able to take off the blindfold repeatedly during the journey. This gave me the opportunity to discuss regularly with Ronald what was going on in my mind at that moment. These conversations provided me with valuable insights and helped me to navigate the labyrinth of my thoughts in a structured way, using the IFS (Internal Family Systems) framework, in order to reach the relevant and important places.

The IFS system is a clear model that illustrates how different inner parts work together and how blockages can arise. During my session, I spoke with the so-called “Firefighters” and “Protectors”, who are responsible for emotional regulation within the IFS system. Ronald’s feedback helped me realise that I myself was part of these “Firefighters” and “Protectors”. This realisation enabled me to reorganise my thoughts and gain a better understanding of my inner state.

Another important point is that, whilst MDMA reduces inhibitions and alleviates anxiety, it is not always easy to see oneself clearly and reflect on one’s own thoughts. At this point, it is crucial to have an outside perspective – a “mirror” – to help you understand what is happening. Ronald provided me with precisely this mirror, and that was the key to organising my thoughts and gaining new insights.

The deepest and most personal insight I gained from my journey was that my motivations, desires and efforts were often not truly my own. They were clouded by the need to live up to the expectations of those around me, rather than being based on my own intrinsic motivations, which were sufficient in themselves. This realisation was crucial for me and has influenced almost everything in my life ever since. Recognising that my energy was often directed towards external expectations has helped me to better understand my own needs and values and to focus on them.

This kind of self-awareness and self-love that arises during an MDMA session is not merely an intellectual realisation, but a profound insight that cuts right to the core. Concepts such as self-love and self-awareness, which previously seemed familiar, take on a new, clear meaning. These insights not only help one to understand inner processes, but also lead to translating them into concrete actions and integrating them into everyday life.

Preparing for the session was just as crucial. It is very important to prepare well, both intellectually and emotionally. I had done this beforehand, and Ronald gave me the feedback that I had found a clear path within the setting itself – almost as if I were in a flow. This preparation was a key factor in the session’s success.

TripTherapie sent me some very helpful information in advance, which helped me to prepare for the process and gain a better understanding of what to expect. This was extremely valuable in enabling me to go into the session with the right mindset and a sense of inner calm.

The preliminary consultation was also a crucial part of the experience. It helped me to clearly articulate my concerns and wishes and to prepare myself emotionally. The empathetic support I received during this consultation made me feel safe and in good hands, which made the actual session even more effective.

The experience itself was intense, and after the therapy I wasn’t clear-headed, but rather deeply moved. These new insights kept me deeply preoccupied, and the process of integrating them lasted almost four days and was extremely intense. This process of coming to terms with it will probably stay with me for a long time, as the thoughts gradually sink in and slowly reorganise themselves. It is an ongoing journey, during which one continually gains new insights and gradually makes sense of what one has experienced.

Every crisis really does present an opportunity, and thanks to TripTherapy, I was able to seize that opportunity for myself. I can only recommend this experience to anyone looking for an effective way to overcome deep emotional and psychological challenges. It is a journey of self-discovery that I wouldn’t want to have missed.

My Review with Trip Therapy

In Every Crisis Lies an Opportunity – My Experience with TripTherapie

My experience with TripTherapie was profound and life-changing. As is often the case in life, I turned to TripTherapie during a crisis, searching for answers and a way to improve my mental health. But what I found was much more – an opportunity to gain a better understanding of myself and to heal old wounds.

Before the TripTherapie session, I had already experimented with MDMA on my own. These previous experiences had provided me with positive insights and helped me resolve some emotional blockages. You can have a positive experience with MDMA on your own. However, my tripsitter Ronald provided me with crucial and valuable insights that profoundly shaped my journey. These insights marked a turning point in my experience, guiding me deeper towards self-awareness, self-love and the feeling that I am enough just as I am.

One particularly interesting aspect of the session was that I was able to repeatedly remove my eye mask during the journey. This allowed me to regularly discuss with Ronald what was going on in my mind. These conversations provided me with valuable insights and helped me navigate the labyrinth of my thoughts within the framework of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to reach the relevant and important areas.

The IFS model is a visual approach that illustrates how different inner parts work together and how blockages can develop. During my session, I interacted with the so-called “firefighters” and “protectors”, which, in the IFS model, are responsible for emotional regulation. Ronald’s feedback helped me realise that I was part of these “firefighters” and “protectors” myself. This insight enabled me to reorganise my thoughts and gain a better understanding of my inner situation.

Another important point is that even whilst under the influence of MDMA – which reduces inhibitions and eases fears – it is not always easy to see oneself clearly and reflect. At this point, having an external perspective – a “mirror” – is crucial to understanding what is happening. Ronald provided me with this mirror, which was key to organising my thoughts and gaining new insights.

The deepest and most personal realisation I gained from my journey was that my motivations, desires and efforts were often not truly my own. They were clouded by the need to meet the expectations of others rather than being based on my own, essential and self-sufficient drives. This realisation was crucial for me and has shaped almost every aspect of my life since. Recognising that my energy was often channelled towards external expectations has helped me to better understand my own needs and values and to focus on them.

This kind of self-awareness and self-love that arises during an MDMA session is not merely an intellectual insight; it is a profound realisation that reaches to the very core. Concepts such as self-love and self-awareness, which once seemed familiar, take on a new, clear meaning. These insights not only help us to understand internal processes but also lead us to translate them into concrete actions and integrate them into our everyday lives.

Preparation for the session was also crucial. It is very important to prepare both intellectually and emotionally. I had done this beforehand, and Ronald gave me feedback that I had found a clear path within the setting – almost as if I were in a state of flow. This preparation was a decisive factor in the session’s success.

TripTherapie provided me with some very helpful information in advance, which helped me prepare for the process and gain a better understanding of what to expect. This was extremely valuable in enabling me to go into the session with the right expectations and a sense of inner calm.

The preliminary conversation was also a crucial part of the experience. It helped me to clearly express my concerns and wishes and to prepare myself emotionally. The empathetic support I received during this conversation ensured that I felt safe and well looked after, which made the actual session even more effective.

The experience itself was intense, and after the therapy, I was not mentally clear but rather deeply moved. The new insights occupied my mind intensely, and the process of integrating them lasted almost four days at a very high intensity. This process will likely stay with me for a long time, as the thoughts gradually settle and reorganise themselves. It is an ongoing journey in which one gains new insights and gradually integrates the experience.

Indeed, every crisis presents an opportunity, and through TripTherapie, I was able to make the most of it. I can only recommend this experience to anyone looking for an effective way to tackle deep emotional and psychological challenges. It is a journey of self-discovery that I wouldn’t want to miss.
