The work of a tripsitter often encompasses only guidance during a trip. A tripsitter primarily ensures safety during the psychedelic trip. A trip coach or trip therapist goes further than a tripsitter because they do more than just guarantee safety.
I prefer to call myself a trip coach rather than a trip therapist. This has to do with the fact that the word therapist carries a connotation suggesting that the therapist has the solutions. In psychedelic therapy, however, it is the client themselves who is the therapist, because the self-healing capacity of the brain and body is utilized. The task of the trip coach is to offer suggestions that benefit the client.

To make the guidance of trip therapy as successful as possible, I make extensive use of the knowledge I have gathered over the past years. Through my studies in Chemistry and Biochemistry, I try to translate a great deal of information into a biochemical narrative, which means that, for example, nutrition and exercise have an impact on the chemical substances in our body, and these chemical substances in turn have an effect on the psyche. For the past 15 years, I have combined this science with nutrition, fitness, supplements, and psychology. In the last 6 years, the use of psychedelics has been added to this.
Outside of my studies, there is much to learn about nutrition, supplements, exercise, and psychology on the internet. Hardly a day goes by without something coming across that sparks my interest in the fields of psychedelics, psychology, sports, nutrition, and supplements. Below, I provide some sources of information.
An excellent source with a wealth of information on nutrition, hormones, and exercise is Ergogenics. Over the past 15 years, I have read almost every post, and as a result, you can fairly easily identify patterns regarding what is and isn't good for both the body and the mind.

Vsausce has 3 different channels on YouTube, and I have watched just about every episode. The best episodes, which are very educational and also deal with the subconscious, are the Mind Field episodes. Mind Field episodes are usually paid premium content, but are still free to watch this year (tip).

Naturally, there are many more things that are important when helping clients in a holistic way. Knowledge of body language, nutrition, supplements, exercise, aromatherapy, NLP, hormones, evolution, the power of suggestion, psychology, the subconscious, and psychedelics makes me the trip coach I am today. My interest in the science surrounding these subjects ensures that my knowledge continues to expand.
Trip therapy actually works best when you can draw on as much knowledge as possible, spread across as many areas of human well-being as possible. All things that are good for the body and the psyche work synergistically (reinforcing each other). If I had to pick something, I would choose the theme of the subconscious. The subconscious encompasses millions of processes that science does not yet fully understand. Knowledge about the subconscious can make all the difference.

My clients are much better able to judge the work I deliver. A number of clients have also been kind enough to write something about me as a trip coach.
