What is psiloayahuasca?

If psiloayahuasca is not misspelled psilohuasca, then is psiloayahuasca a mixture of psilocybin and ayahuasca and psilocybin. This mixture then contains, among other things, the MAO inhibitor Banisteriopsis caapi, DMT from Mimosa hostilis, Psychotria viridis or Acacia confusa, and psilocybin from magic mushrooms or truffles.

In our opinion, psilocybin is not often combined with ayahuasca (with DMT). What is becoming increasingly common, however, especially after the ban on ayahuasca with DMT, is psilohuasca. Psilohuasca is a mixture of Banisteriopsis caapi and psilocybin. Although you do not need an MAO inhibitor like Banisteriopsis caapi for the effects of psilocybin, it is being combined with it more and more frequently. This is done because it allows for a stronger trip with less psilocybin. Another reason is that by mimicking the effects (and discomforts) of ayahuasca, a group of clients can be served who are looking for a legal experience similar to the illegal ayahuasca ceremonies.

The downside of psilohuasca is that the addition of the caapi plant increases the risk of physical discomfort during the trip. You increase the chance of vomiting, diarrhea, and psychological disturbances. Furthermore, there are also a lot of more contraindications compared to psilocybin use if you choose psilohuasca.

The better and safer alternatives to psilohuasca are psiloflora, or simply sticking to psilocybin and, if necessary, taking more psilocybin to get an experience just as strong as with psilohuasca. Read more about these topics via the links:
